Women's soccer in Australia
We are excited to have linked up with female soccer clubs across Australia in order to offer soccer gap year experiences to females in the UK.
At Future Elite Sports we care about women's soccer, which is why we have successfully partnered with the Australian Women's Premier League. We offer females the chance to play football at a high standard whilst exploring Australia. We are the first and only sports agency in the UK that has a program set up to help females experience Australia with the ball at their feet.
Soccer has become one of the most popular sports for females, which is why we are passionate about promoting as many playing opportunities as possible. We have links with various female soccer clubs across Australia and are able to offer an opportunity to experience not only a different style of soccer, but a different way of life.
How does gap year female soccer work?
During your time in Australia you will be linked with a women's soccer club that matches your playing ability and social needs. You will be able to socialise with other females experiencing gap year sport and spend some time seeing the best of what Australia has to offer.
We make sure that we not only link you with a club that matches your specific needs, but also assist with visa application, accommodation, CV advice, job applications, video profiling and editing, transport to training and support as soon as you land down under.
The Australian Women's Premier League runs from February to September with most teams commencing pre-season training in early December. You will play and train all season long with your carefully selected team and experience the “work hard, play hard” mentality that all Australian female soccer teams operate with.
So whether you want to take things seriously and play at the highest level, or you just want to enjoy the Australian experience and everything it has to offer, we have it covered.
Why Australian women's soccer?
Australia has some of the best female soccer facilities and competitive leagues in the southern hemisphere. We are able to place you with a club that not only matches your ability, but is also tailored so you can get exactly what you want from your gap year experience.
Aside from the thriving female soccer set up, Australia is a haven for gap year adventurers with sprawling cities, verdant rainforest, an abundance of wildlife and miles upon miles of pristine golden beaches.
So if you want to be a professional female soccer player or you simply want to experience the thrills of playing abroad, we can help.
